Defamation
- NTUC Food fare Co-operative Ltd against The Independent Singapore (2019). Successfully acted for NTUC Foodfare in respect of two defamatory articles published on the latter’s Website and Facebook Page. The Independent Singapore settled the claim.
- LionGold Corp Ltd v The Edge Publishing Pte Ltd & Anor [2016, Suit No 1192/2014], High Court. Successfully defended The Edge Publishing Pte Ltd in obtaining a discontinuance of the action against them in respect of an article about the infamous penny stock crash on the Singapore Stock Exchange in 2013.
- Blumont Group Ltd v The Edge Publishing Pte Ltd & Anor [2016, Suit No. 1037/2014], High Court. Successfully defended The Edge Publishing Pte Ltd in obtaining a discontinuance of the action against them in respect of an article about the infamous penny stock crash on the Singapore Stock Exchange in 2013.

Contract
- Chwee Kin Keong and others v Digilandmall.com Pte Ltd [2005] 1 SLR(R) 502, Court of Appeal. Succeeded in defending the website against having to honour the sale based on the wrong price. This is a landmark decision in Singapore. It concerned whether a unilateral mistake of fact in the price of a product listed for sale on a website binds the seller.
- Singland Transportation Pte Ltd v Alpha Focus (S) Pte Ltd [2017] SGHC 186, High Court. Successfully claimed against the defendant for non-payment for services in a construction matter.
- Xavier Andre Justo & Anor v Tong Kooi Ong & Ors (2015, Suit No. 986 of 2015), High Court. This case involves the 1MDB saga. Successfully defended Datuk Tong Kooi Ong (owner of The Edge Sdn Bhd and The Edge Publishing Pte Ltd) against a claim by Andre Justo, while he was in prison in Thailand.
- A*Glasstech Pte. Ltd. v Full-Glass Pte Ltd [2019] SGDC 82, District Court. Successfully obtained summary judgment for the plaintiff for non-payment for glass processing services and striking out of the defendant’s counterclaim.
- Trans Express (S) Pte Ltd v McDonald’s Restaurants Pte Ltd (2015, District Court, unreported). Successfully defended McDonald’s Restaurant Pte Ltd against the plaintiff’s claim and successfully obtaining judgment for McDonald’s Restaurant Pte Ltd in its counterclaim against the plaintiff.

- The Royal Bank of Scotland NV (formerly known as ABN Amro Bank NV) and others v TT International Ltd and another appeal [2012] 2 SLR 213, Court of Appeal. Challenging the sanction of a Scheme of Arrangement of a public listed company in Singapore.
- Re TT International Ltd [2010] SGHC 177, High Court. Challenging the sanction of a Scheme of Arrangement of a public listed company in Singapore.
- Acted for ABN AMRO NV in its recovery claim as a creditor of Singapore Flyer Pte Ltd, owner of the iconic landmark in Singapore, The Singapore Flyer, before the successful sale of the assets by the Receivers & Managers to Straco Corporation in 2014.
- Acted for the majority shareholders of Swee Hong Limited, a public listed company (High Court, Suit 778/2015).
MCST Cases
- Chia Sok Kheng Kathleen v Management Corporation Strata Title Plan No 669 [2004] 4 SLR(R) 27, High Court. Successfully defended the MCST against a claim by subsidiary proprietor and successfully obtaining judgment for the MCST against the subsidiary proprietor for breach of the Act.
- Successfully defended a subsidiary proprietor, a management council member, who was sued by other members of the management committee for alleged defamation.
- Acted for a subsidiary proprietor in respect of a complaint to the Strata Titles Board due to water leakage into the unit below.
